Pour out upon us, O God, the power and wisdom of Your Spirit, so that we, who have been baptised into Christ, and made Your children through faith, may know Your Son’s power to heal; and being made one in Him, may overcome all the barriers that divide us; through Jesus Christ our Lord, Who lives and reigns with You in the unity of the Holy Spirit, one God for ever and ever

INTERCHURCH COUNCIL MEETING
As part of the lead up 2010 World Vision 48 hour Famine to be held in August there will be an ecumenical evening service at 7.00 pm on 04/07/10 at the Baptist Church. During the service there will be an address for World Vision CEO Tim Costello and suggestions as to ways small church groups can come together to raise funds. You are strongly encouraged to attend, last year our church was on the sidelines of the fund raising events

Fund-raisers for ABM :
(1) On Friday 25th June from 11.45 a.m. a 'MIDWINTER LUNCHEON' at St George's Hall, St Bernard's Road Magill. Guest Speaker is to be Fr. Anthony Taylor, on the subject of the Monarto Zoo. Tickets $12.00. (See notice in our parish hall).
(2) On Monday 28th June from 9.45 a.m. a FILM MORNING at the Chelsea Cinema, to see the film "The Young Victoria". Tickets $8.00 - Presentation of tickets on the day at Chelsea Fashions will entitle you to a 20% discount on purchases from their winter stock. These two events to support a good cause. Joan Durdin has tickets for both events and can offer transport to three people who may care to travel with her.

In preparation for our Patronal Festival next month, it would be good to have colourful pictures of children of all colours and conditions with which to make a collage display for that day. If you have any such, would you lend them to me so we can prepare the display, please? Robyn Keynes 8298 7160
CHILDREN'S MINISTRY
The sale of videos after church last Sunday resulted in a total of $45.00. A donation of $20.00 was also received for Children's Ministry. Thank you for your support and WATCH OUT for the forthcoming sale of CDs. (The videos will also return).
