THE PRAYER FOR TODAY O God, you call your Church to witness that in Christ we are reconciled to you: help us so to proclaim the good news of your love, that all who hear it may turn to you; through Jesus Christ our Lord, who lives and reigns with you and the Holy Spirit, one God, now and for ever. Amen.

We pray for those in need especially Anne, Betty and Walter, Janet and Peter, Anna, Joy, Ben, Ros, Ron, Eric, Dianne, Iris F, Murray & Ben, Phyll, Heather, Juliet and one year olds Blake and Tallan. We give thanks for the lives of William Forster, Barbara Pettet, William Paul Forster, and Phyllis Halstead.

PARISH HIDEAWAY WEEKEND

24-26 October

Activities for the weekend include lots of eating and drinking, liturgy preparation, treasure hunt through the sand hills, bike ride to Carrickalinga, sand castle competition judged by Warren, beer o’clock, celebrity heads, sing-a-long and that’s just Saturday. Sunday watch Sid Sweet as he breaks the ice then join us for a Service on the Beach followed by a lunch. Come for the whole weekend or just for the service and lunch.

OPERATION CHRISTMAS CHILD SHOE BOXES

THE MAGDALENE CENTRE

Is in desperate need of blankets, sleeping bags, doonas, etc, to provide some winter warmth to those sleeping rough this winter. Kate and Allan would be happy to pick up any donations that you are unable to deliver to the church yourself BUT TODAY IS THE LAST DAY. If you miss them please leave donations in the Mary Magdalene box in the hall. They have had a marvellous response so far. THANK YOU.
